The preparation decides the result
Painting is the part of a renovation people see first, and the part that starts to disappoint first when it is done carelessly. Cracks that come back, edges that are not straight, coverage that turns patchy in low sunlight.
So we spend most of our time on what you will never see: washing down, filling, sanding and priming correctly. Get the surface right and the paint does its job, and the result holds up for years.
We are glad to help with colour and sheen too. A colour behaves very differently in a north-facing room than a south-facing one, and what survives daily wear in a hallway is not the same as what works in a bedroom.

Walls and ceilings
We wash down, fill holes and unevenness, sand and prime before we paint. The result is an even surface without patches, including in rooms with a lot of daylight.

Trim, doors and windows
Skirting, frames and internal doors are painted with hard-wearing paint that takes being wiped down. Clean edges against wall and floor are what make a room look finished.

Filling and full skim
If the wall needs to be perfectly flat, for instance before a new kitchen or in a room with strong side light, we skim and sand the whole surface. We use dust-extracting sanders, so you avoid dust through the whole home.
Exterior painting
Facade, cladding, decking and garage, suited to the Norwegian climate.

Facade washing and preparation
We wash off dirt, mould and algae, scrape and sand back loose paint, and repair damage in the timber before priming. Skip this and the new paint flakes within a few seasons.

Painting cladding and masonry
We use weather-resistant products matched to the substrate, whether that is timber, masonry or metal. The paint has to protect the building against rain, sun and temperature swings, not just look good in August.

Decking, fencing and garage
We also take the smaller surfaces that usually get forgotten. Treating the deck and garage in the same round makes the property look coherent, and saves you bringing people back next year.

Removing old wallpaper
We take off old wallpaper without damaging the substrate, then wash and fill the wall so it is ready for something new.

Hanging and fitting
The right adhesive, accurate measuring, and seams placed where they do not catch the eye. Patterns that should meet, meet.

Wallpaper that takes wear
Modern wallpaper is both washable and scratch-resistant, and works just as well in a hallway, home office or child’s room as on a feature wall in the living room.
Questions about painter
Do I have to move out while you paint?
No, in almost every case you can stay at home. We work room by room, cover up and tidy after ourselves each day. If the whole home is being skimmed and painted at once it can be easier to be away for a few days, and we agree that at the site visit.
What does it cost to paint a flat?
The price depends on the area, ceiling height, how much preparation is needed and whether trim and doors are included. That is why we do not quote a square metre price over the phone. We come out for a free site visit, measure up, and send a written quote with a fixed price.
Can you help me choose a colour?
Yes. We look at the light in the room, the wear the surface has to take, and how the colours sit with the rest of the home. We can also put up test patches before you decide.
