Good carpentry is not noticed, it just fits
A room feels finished when the details are right. The trim meets in the corners, the doors close easily, the stairs do not creak. It is rarely something you notice when it is done properly, and always something you notice when it is not.
We work on both new build and older properties. In an old Oslo apartment nothing is plumb or square, and that is where experience decides whether the result looks fitted or stuck on.
If you only need a staircase adjusted or some trim replaced, that is a perfectly good job for us. We take smaller work too, not just the large projects.

Replacing windows and doors improves insulation and lifts the look. We make sure the fixing, sealing and trim are right, not just that the frame is in place.

Skirting, cornices and architraves matched to the character of the home. In older flats we will copy the existing profiles, so old and new do not argue.

Fitting kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke storage. Made to measure where standard sizes do not fit, which in an old Oslo building they rarely do.
Questions about carpenter
Do you take small carpentry jobs?
Yes. If you need some shelves put up, trim replaced in one room or a door adjusted that will not close, just get in touch. We group smaller jobs together so the price stays sensible for you as well.
Do I need planning permission for an extension?
It depends on the size, the distance to the boundary and what your municipality requires. We go through this with you at the site visit and tell you clearly whether the job needs an application, and what has to be in place before we can start.

Boligoppussing, innendørsmaling og gulvreparasjon
